So I am now 20 weeks! Time is going so quickly this pregnancy. We went in the other day for my ultrasound and we found out we are having a GIRL! Yay! We are so excited! I can't believe I am already half way there. I think Kade is going to be such a good big brother. I am getting really anxious to start decorating the nursery and getting it ready. It will be so fun to get it all girly and cute. I can't believe how lucky we are. We are so blessed!

Halloween!

Halloween was so fun this year with Kade. He was a monkey again like last year, and the costume actually fit him better this year. We took him to Kyle's work to go trick- or- treating, and he was really shy. He would just cuddle into us, but when we asked him if he wanted candy he would nod his head yes and lean over and pick out a candy and put it in his bucket than cuddle back into us. It was stinkin cute. We also took him to about 4 different houses on halloween night, and he would just stand there on the porch and stare at the people, get his candy and not move. Than when we would walk away he would drag his bag behind him.It was so fun. Than we brought him home and Kyle and I took turns going into different rooms with candy and having Kade knock on the door and we would open it and give him a piece of candy. He had a blast.

Kade is now 18 months old and started going to nursery about 3 weeks ago. It is so crazy that my baby is growing up so fast and he is a little boy now. He is so much fun and learns new things everyday. He already says quite a few words some of which are: Mommy, Daddy, bottle, ball, fish, turtle, done, I got it, and more. He loves to dance to music and bang his head. He gets so into it. It is so funny to watch.
About a month ago I started watching a 3 month old baby girl, a 6 month old baby boy, and of course Kade every day. I know I'm pretty sure I am crazy, but it has been not too bad. Kade does get really jealous and upset sometimes though when I am holding one of the other babies, so he will try and come cuddle with me and push them away. He is so used to having all of the attention that I think it has been kinda hard on him.
On top of that for those of you who don't know, we are having another baby! Yay! I am 14 weeks along now. I had been soooo sick though so it has been really hard to function and be positive. I am finally starting to feel alot better, which I am so grateful for, but it still kinda depends on the day, but I will take that over being super sick every day. We are really excited though and I think Kade will be a great big brother. I am due March 22, so Kade and the baby will be almost exactly 2 years apart.
We celebrated our 5 year anniversary a couple of weeks ago. I cannot believe we have already been married 5 years. Time flies, and it is kinda freaky. I love Kyle so much though and am so lucky to have such an amazing man to have a family with and be with forever. Here are some recent pics we have taken. Ok so I know it has been forever, and I have been terrible about updating my blog. There has been so much going on since I last updated that I don't really know where to start but here goes;
Kade is growing up so fast! He is such a wild boy and loves to explore EVERYTHING! He was always getting into the cupboards and drawers in the kitchen and taking everything out so we finally put child locks on everything. Than he discovers he can move the chairs and climb on the kitchen table and run around. So now we have to keep the chairs on top of the table. We always slide the couch in front of the hallway when we are trying to keep him in the living room, and he recently figured out how to climb on the back of the couch and slowly lift himself down to the other side. I don't know what to do about that one, and he has now discovered the floor vents so he is always taking them out and playing with those. I just don't get it he has all these toys and he wants to play with everything he shouldn't be. His favorite toys right now are balls( he is always pointing saying ball and running and getting it and throwing it down the stairs and saying uh oh! or he is kicking one around the house. It is so freakin cute! His other favorite thing right now is his stuffed turtle. Kyle and I will always say
where's your turtle? , and he will run and get it and bring it to you or hug it real tight. He loves that thing. Kade is seriously the happiest boy ever, and I love it. He is always smiling or laughing and he always makes my day.
Kade is now 16 months. He has been going to nursery for a couple of months already because kyle is in the nursery, and Kade loves it.

Kyle got a motorcyle a couple of months ago for a great deal from a guy he knows, and he has been loving it. We had talked about getting one since we were married, and he finally got one. It does freak me out a little because of stories I have heard, but I was pretty excited myself. He rides it to work everyday and loves it. We also sold my little car. I had my car since before we were married. It was kinda sad cuz there is lots of memories, but I was kinda glad to see it go.
I ran a half marathon a couple of months ago. It is kinda a crazy story. One of my counselors in YW was going to run it and was all registered and than found out she was pregnant, so I was like I will run it. So me and my other counselor ran it together. I had absolutely no training I just wanted to do it to say I did it, and I didn't think I would care about my time or anything like that. Well I got there and my competitive side came out and I ran the entire time and did it in 2 hours and 10 min. I was so proud of myself, It was an awesome feeling, but I will never do something like that again with no training. I definitely paid for it. I got soooooo sick. But it is really cool to look back and say I did that. I am so proud of myself.
We are just keeping busy with Kade and work and work and callings, and we absolutely love being parents. We got an amazing litlle boy and we love him so much.

It has been forever since I posted anything so I thought I would do a quick post. Kade had tubes put in his ears last month to help with ear infections, so these are pics at the hospital

Kade is now 10 months old, (I know I can't believe it), and he loves to talk. He babbles all day long and is such a happy baby. I told Aunt Suzy awhile back I would post pics of Kade in his halloween costume, so here they are. He was a monkey.

4 YEARS!!!!

Our anniversary is today, and I honestly can't believe it has been 4 years already. I remember our wedding day like it was yesterday. I came home from work today and went in the bedroom and there was a big vase of pink roses sitting on the table. It was so sweet. Than Kyle took me out to dinner and we went to outback steakhouse. After dinner we went and rented a movie from blockbuster and Kyle, Kade and I all laid down to watch a movie. We decided we wanted to keep things pretty simple this year with Kade being so young and all, but we had alot of fun anyway. I love Kyle so much he is my best friend, and I am the luckiest girl ever. It has been the best 4 years, and I am so glad I get to be with him forever!

wow this past week or so has been so crazy! Just to give you and idea I have girls camp tomorrow so last week we were doing a bunch of stuff trying to get everything ready. The weekend was super busy. On Friday when I got home my cousin courtney was in town so she came over and helped me bake a bunch of things for our young women fundraiser which was a yard sale/ bake sale. So it was way fun to see her and hang out with her for awhile. So that night I was up way too late getting last minute stuff done for it and than I had to be at the yard sale at 7 to help set up the next morning. We did awesome though. We made 854.00! It was great so the yard sale ended at 2 and than I had a wedding shower to go to for a friend. Right when I got home from that we headed to Kyles sisters house because his other sister was in town so we were able to visit with them for a little bit. That was alot of fun as well. Than when we got home from that we literally fell into bed. Well I had a meeting the next morning at 8:30 and I totally slept through my alarm. I was exhausted. I felt so bad. Than we went to church and I had meeting after church for youth conference which is the week after girls camp, and I am sorry but I think that is crazy. I can't really think about youth conference until girls camp is over, but I have no choice. Right after my meeting I came home and crashed hard. Wow it felt so good. It was the craziest weekend ever! Well we are going to girls camp tomorrow which I am super excited for, but Kyle is having surgery on Thursday, so it is going to be another crazy week. I totally love my calling though and it has been so much fun! I just had no idea how much my leaders did when I was a young women. Hopefully next weekend will be a little more relaxing, and hopefully girls camp is a success! Kade is going to be 5 months on Thursday, and I can't believe it has already been that long. He is loving solid foods. So far he eats rice cereal, sweet potatoes, carrots, bananas, and today he tried apricots for the first time. He eats so much I swear. Its also fun because I have been making my own baby food, and I love it. Kade is getting so much more fun and interactive everyday, and I love it when he laughs. Kyle can always get a laugh from him. He is such a happy boy and we love him soooooooooo much!

Not quite tall enough

Wow I cannot believe Kade is already 4 months old. Time is flying way too fast. He is so much fun now and is more interactive everyday. He has the cutest laugh, and Kyle and I will do just about anything to get him to laugh. I took Kade to the doctor yesterday for his 4 month appt and these are his stats:
Head: 4% - yea he has a tiny little noggin
weight: 9% - Wow he is a skinny boy
height: 78%- He is going to be tall like Daddy

I also started feeding him rice cereal and he loves it, and the doctor said I can start him on yellow and orange fruits and veggies. That will be fun. He is rolling all over the place and is a very strong little boy. He is usually a very happy baby. He likes to make lots of sounds now and tries to copy sounds we make. He also loves to drool all over Kyle when he holds him up. It is hilarious because I swear he does it on purpose. Kyle and I love him so much and feel so blessed to have him in our lives. I truly think being a mother is the best job ever. I absolutely love it.

The next weekend Kyle was able to come up and pick me and my mom up and we went and stayed with his sister Deeann. We hung out and Deeann made a cute little sling to carry Kade in for me. We got to see Kades cousins Reagan and Hayden. It had been a while since we had seen them. The last time was when Kade was like 2 and a half months old so Hayden looked alot different. Kyle, Kade, and I went down to the strip and walked around the Bellagio than decided it was too hot so we went back. The strip is really overrated. I need to remember that next time.
It was a great trip and I am really glad we were able to get away. I realize I don't have any pics of Reagan and I don't know why, but he was so excited to see his uncle Kyle and Kyle brought him some little cars and he was so happy. He was really mad that we were leaving without him and wouldn't come tell us goodbye. He is such a cute boy. It was so great to visit with Deeann and Jeremy and Reagan and Hayden. You will have to come see us again soon.

Kade and I went to Vegas for 10 days with my parents to see family and help out my brother and sister-in-law who just had their second baby girl Kenna. She is so adorable.Along with getiing to see kades two cousins on my side of the family, kyles sister lives 15 minutes away from my brother so we got to visit with them and their two little boys. It was alot of fun. We went swimming everyday sometimes twice a day. We got to spend the fourth of July with Daniel and Melanie and my parents. First of all on Friday May 28th Kade rolled over for the first time. It was so cool, he did it 3 times in a row for us. I was so excited. The other thing I wanted to post about is this past week. It has been a really humbling week for me and I just wanted to share a few things. Last Sunday Kyle and I were called in to meet with the Bishop so we figured either one or both of us were getting a new calling, but I was not prepared for what was coming. I was called to be the Young Women's President. Wow I think I stared at the bishopric with my mouth hanging open for about 20 seconds. I was so shocked. I know though that the Lord will not give us anything we cannot handle and I know he will help me through this calling. As I have let it sink in I am actually really excited about this opportunity, I think it will be a great learning and growing experience for me, and the counselors I have are great women and I am so excited to work with them.. On top of that calling I had to speak in church today, (and the stake presidency happened to be there along with Elder Walter Gonzalez of the Presidency of the seventy, oh and my parents showed up too, so I was even more nervous but it turned out ok) so it has been a very stressful but good day. My testimony of the gospel has grown so much this week and I am so grateful for it in my life.

About 2 weeks ago Kade had his 2 month doctor appt. He weighed 11 1lbs 11 0zs which was average, and he was 24 inches long which means he has grown 4 inches in 2 months. He is in the 80% for his height which is not surprising at all. I knew he would be a tall boy. He has just a little noggin though he is only in the 10% for his head. These last 2 1/2 months have been so much fun. Kade is so smiley now and he is starting to babble and "talk" back to us alot. He is getting so strong too and loves to stand up and can almost roll over on his own now. I cannot believe how fast he is growing. But he really does get more fun and interactive everyday.
Kyle and I have been getting back into raquetball recently and are lovin it . We have been playing with some friends,( Brig and Steph, and Jamison and Heather) You guys are awesome! It had been too long since we played, and now we try to play at least once a week. It has been so great to get back into exercising. I have been addicted to The Biggest Loser and it has really motivated me to get back into shape, and I am so proud of myself I have lost about 37 lbs since I had Kade, and for Mother's Day Kyle got me some new work out clothes which I love. Thanks honey!

On Sunday we blessed Kade. It was such an awesome day! Kyle gave a beautiful blessing. I am so grateful for such a wonderful husband who is worthy to hold the priesthood and that he was able to bless our son. It was such a special day for our family. I am so grateful for all the friends and family that came, and everyone who helped out. We love our little boy so much and are so grateful for the blessing he has been in our lives. He is growing so fast and getting cuter and more fun everyday! I love both the boys in my life so much! We forgot to take pictures until everyone left so I was kind of sad but we got some of our little family.

It was alot of fun but it took forever because he kept crying so we didn't get as many good ones as I would have hoped but I think they still turned out darn cute. Sorry It is a little bit picture overload but I loved them all so much! I think the lighting on some of them isn't very good but oh well!

So sweet!

I can't believe Kade is already a month old. He is changing so much everyday and it is so much fun. This month has seriously gone by so fast it is scary. I have been snapping pictures like crazy which is funny because I have always been terrible with taking pictures. Kade has been alot better sleeping at night and I am thinking about switching him to the nursery now and trying to get him on a schedule but I just can't stand to let him cry himself to sleep so I don't really know what to do. I thought I knew alot about babies from my experiences with being a nanny but I feel like I have so much to learn and I want to do everything perfect. Anyways we finally got our fence up in our backyard so now we can let Abby out and run around the backyard and it is great because kids were always walking through our backyard to get to the street above us and would always leave trash lying around. I love it and can't wait until Kade is old enough to go outside and play.

2 Weeks!

Kade is now 2 weeks old! We took him to the doctor this morning for his 2 week checkup and the doctor comes in and says ok he should be back up to his birth weight by this appt which was 7lbs 4 oz, and they had already weighed him and she looked at him and in a shocked voice said or a pound heavier. He was 8 lbs 3 oz today and apparently that is alot to gain in that time. So she looked at him and called him a little fatty. It was pretty funny. So than she went to check his circumcision and he peed all over her. It was funny. She said she hasn't been peed on in over 2 years. That's my boy! Anyways everything went well at his appt and he is getting cuter everyday. I absolutely love being a mom!

So on Friday March 5th I was 41 weeks and ready to be done. My doctor was out of town for the weekend so he said he would induce me when he got back on Monday. He wanted me to go in on Friday for a non stress test to make sure the baby was doing ok. Well I went to the hospital that morning just kinda frustrated because I wanted to be going to have the baby not to be doing a non stress test. So the lady started the test and she said she was a little worried because the fluids surrounding the baby were kinda low and because the babies movements hadn't been as frequent so she was going to call the on call doctor to see what he thought and basically I begged them to keep me. Well she called him and right off he said lets admit her. I was so excited. I called Kyle to tell him to come to the hospital and he didn't believe me at first but I convinced him pretty quickly. They took me up and admitted me and started me on oxytocin and than we just hung out and waited. A couple of hours later the doc came in and broke my water and probably an hour or two later I asked for my epidural, which was amazing. It was kind of scary at first because I started shaking uncontrollably at first and I didn't know why but the nurse said that was normal and happens to a lot of women. It all seemed to go by really fast and before I knew it I was ready to start pushing. I pushed for about an hour and fifteen minutes and than he was here.It was the most amazing experience. I didn't get to see him for the first 20 minutes because they were worried he had swallowed meconium so they took him and suctioned him up and everything and it seemed to take forever until I got to see my little boy, but once they put him in my arms I was so happy, I couldn't believe I had done it. Kyle was so good through the whole thing and I love him more now than ever. I did the mirror thing and I would totally recommend it to anyone it was so cool to watch and it gives you motivation to push harder. We are so happy Kade is finally here and we love him so much already!

40 weeks!

40 weeks and still no baby! I am not gonna lie, I am a little disappointed because I really wanted him to come early but there is really nothing I can do about it. I went to the doctor on Wednesday and I am dilated to a 1 and am 70% effaced but really that doesn't mean much, but it is exciting that I have progressed a little bit. I guess I should be grateful I haven't delivered yet because I have been really sick the past 10 days and I am just barely getting over it so it probably wouldn't have been real fun to have a baby during that time. I am getting very antsy however, and I can't sit still or sleep or anything without going crazy! We are so excited and hope our little guy comes soon. I really can't wait to meet him. I kind of think at this point though that we are going to be having a March baby but you never know. I am crossing my fingers it will be soon! I have been doing everything I can think of to induce labor, I just got back from the gym where I walked the treadmill for 30 min, I was so proud. The best part is knowing that for sure in 2 weeks I won't be pregnant any more and I will have a sweet little baby!

35 WEEKS!

I am now 35 weeks, that means only 35 more days to go! We are so excited, and I am so ready to have this baby. I really don't see how he can continue to grow and get any bigger because I feel like my tummy doesn't have any more room. We still haven't come up with any names so if you have any suggestions feel free to let us know, we could use all the help we can get! I went to the doctor's the other day and apparently the baby's head is already down and ready for exit. I thought that was pretty cool that babies just know what to do to get ready. He just figured it out early which means he's going to be really smart right? J/K!

Here are some pictures of the nursery. It is officially finished and I absolutely love it. It has been such a fun project to do! Now the only thing we need for it is the baby! YAY!

We found most of the stuff on KSL Classifieds which is way exciting because you can find just as nice of stuff a little used for the fraction of the cost. I did lots of research and watched every day for just what I wanted and I think it turned out perfectly. I think it is my new favorite room in the house.

It has been quite a while since I posted so I thought I would give a little update! I am now 30 weeks along and Kyle and I are so excited to meet our little guy soon. The nursery is all ready for him, it has been so much fun to do, and is super cute. I will have to post pics of it. Also we have been very busy getting ready for Christmas. The other night I went to my mom's and all the girls made goodies for like 5 hours straight. It was alot of fun but soo tiring. It has been so much fun this year getting ready for Christmas. So Kyle and I got a new addition to our family about a month ago. We got a puppy. Her name is Abby, she is a boxer and she is so much fun. Aiden and Ella love her so much, they are so cute with her.

This is me at 30 weeks, I know I look terrible because honestly I just got out of bed but just wanted to get a quick pic to post, but lately I don't really care how I look cuz I am always so exhausted so sorry. But it is so much fun. Our little guy is moving around like crazy and it is so fun just to watch my tummy move.

IT'S A ???

Kyle and I went to the doctors for the ultrasound today and we found out what we are having. IT'S A BOY! We are so excited, he was so cute on all the little pictures and it was so fun to see him moving around and stuff. We got one really good picture of his face and he has his little hand resting under his chin. It is so adorable. Well they did all the measurements to see if everything looked good and everything is great! I was really nervous that the baby would be too shy and we wouldn't be able to tell what it was, but his legs were wide open and it is very obvious, so that is a big relief.We are really excited, it was an awesome experience.

3 Years!

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated our 3rd year anniversary! It is amazing how time flies. It was a great day. I came home from work and there were flowers sitting on the table for me, and I walked into the bedroom and Kyle had fallen asleep, it was so cute. Anyways he got us an anniversary gift and it was a new camera, which I was so excited for because we have been having to use his camera phone for months now. We than went to see the Joseph Smith movie downtown because that is where we went for our first single date together. (Our first date was a double date) After that we went to Tucano's for dinner and it was really yummy. It was a really great day and I am so greatful for such a wonderful husband and best friend. I love you Kyle!

This is how it all started a big huge open space and now...

...We finally finished the theater room. It is so much fun, I don't think we ever need to go to the movies again. (Hopefully) Anyways I let Kyle pick pretty much everything, the carpet, paint, etc, and I think he did an amazing job. Thank you to all those who came and helped with it. We really appreciate all the help we got. There is still a couple of things we need to do to finish it up, but it has already been used a ton. We watch movies all the time now and Kyle loves playing his video games, especially rock band is a fun one. what you can't see is the couch on the platform and behind that we are putting in a counter, cupboards, fridge, and microwave.

So my friend Shelly invited me to go do a craft at her sister in laws house which she is starting to do every month, with a different theme and choices of crafts. Well I am not a crafty person at all but I decided it would be fun and I would try it. So I decided to do this bee yard stake thing, and I love it, I had so much fun, and I was so surprised that it actually turned out. Next week I am going to make a scarecrow one, and I am so excited to learn all these new things and have cute little crafts.

So I know it has been a really long time since I updated my blog, but I thought I would get on and tell everyone our good news. I am pregnant! We are so excited! My due date is February 26th. So yeah that puts me at about 7 weeks along. I have been kinda sick so it has been hard to hide it so we thought we would just tell everyone. I think Kyle is going to be such a good Daddy. We are both really excited.

New Beginnings

So My boss called me last week and said that he knew he wasn't able to give me hours and he felt bad but he ran across a job that was hiring and he thought of me and asked if I was interested. Well it would be working as a mail courier downtown and the hours would be 9:30 to 4 Monday thru Friday. The only problem with that is I would have to quit my nanny job which I love. Well I talked to Kyle about it and we talked and prayed about it, and finally decided that I would take it. So I had really mixed emotions because I am really gonna miss the kids I nanny for as well as the parents. So I started my new job Monday and they weren't really ready to train me so I shadowed the secretary all day than on Tuesday I had an amazing experience that I have to write about. So they want me to shadow and learn all the routes because my route doesn't start for about a month because it will be a brand new one so I am training with everyone else. So I went with the lady who delivers the mail to the Church Administration Building and we delivered all the mail to the general authorities and the seventies. Wow! We first started out on the floor the prophet and his counselors were on and I didn't see them but President Eyring's secretary let me go in and see his office. It was awesome. As we worked our way around the building of course I met all the secretaries and in one of the offices I walked into, there was Elder Bednar standing there talking to his secretary so I got introduced and got to shake his hand. Than Elder Richard G. Scott was in and I was able to shake his hand and when I shook his hand I felt the warmest feeling run through me, it was incredible. Those were the only two I got to shake hands with but Elder Holland walked by and said hi and so did Elder Uchtdorf, and I saw several other general authorites . It was so awesome and I get to do that route all next week too and deliver all there mail to them. It is soo cool that I have this opportunity, and it makes my testimony stronger. So so far I really like my job. I will have to post a pic of me in my new uniform it is pretty darn sexy. ha ha. Oh and today I found out I have access to all the tunnels underground downtown that the general authorities use to get places and got to walk through some of them .

SLOWLY BUT SURELY

So we have started building the basement and it has been a lot of fun. I don't think I realized when we started how much work is involved and it is very time consuming. We have made quite a bit of progress though which is way exciting. Kyle is becoming an expert at framing, and I have actually measured and cut most of the wood for the framing. It is a huge project but we are having alot of fun with it and it helps keep me busy since I am practically out of a job right now. The distribution center has been really slow because of the economy so since I am only part time there they have been calling me almost every single day not to come in. So for the past 2-3 weeks I have probably only worked 1 or 2 days. So I have decided it is probably time to look for another job to keep me busy. It kind of sucks because I really enjoy working there, but maybe it is time to move on. Here are some pictures of the progress we have been making on the basement.

So this month marks 2 years for me working at the LDS Distribution Center. YAY! Those who know me well know that is a huge accomplishment for me because I used to jump from job to job every couple of months, so basically it is pretty much amazing that I have been there that long and I still like it so I will probably be there a lot longer. I am also still at my nanny job which I have been doing about 1 and a half years, and I still love that. Life is wonderful!

Well it has been a really crazy last couple of weeks, but we are finally all moved in for the most part and we are absolutely loving it. Here are some pictures I took of it furnished. We went to our ward this Sunday and the people are so nice. We looked around in sacrament and I swear 75 percent of the population was little kids. It was kinda crazy. Our neighbors are very nice and welcoming and that has been lots of fun getting to know new people. In this pic in the laundry room kyle built me this stand for my washer and dryer. It is great because I don;t have to bend over to do laundry anymore, and it was a lot cheaper than buying the stands that go with them.
So i know i am kinda random with what I write but hey its my blog so that's ok right. We had the people I nanny for over for dinner tonight and had a lot of fun. They are so great to me. I love working for them. We played pictionary and than watched Transformers it was a blast.

So it looks like we are closing on Tuesday. Yay! We are so excited to finally get a home of our own. We have really worked hard for this and are way happy. I can't wait to start decorating and getting it all cutesy. And of course building Kyle's theater room. So we will close tuesday and move in on saturday after we paint and do some things to it.

I had kyle take a pic of my hair cuz I am sooo excited it is finally starting to get long again. The only thing I hate is it is so thick so it sucks to do and it gets all tangled all the time.

Last night we went to the jordan river temple for the last time before the Draper temple opens which will than be our temple district but where we are moving I think we might be in the Oquirrh mountain temple district which would be cool because than we will be able to attend two temple dedications and live in the area at the time. Any afterwards we went to Marie Callendars to get pie, and Kyle decided to get a hot fudge brownie sundae and this was how huge it was, the waitress said it would feed three people. He ate it all by himself.

Last week Kyle and I went to play basketball with Fusi, a good friend of mine from my high school basketball team. We had a blast This pic was taken after playing several games with me and her just a bunch of guys. We had a blast.

Well I finally started a blog and so I might as well start off with some good news. Kyle and I just bought our first home. We are in the process of closing right now and we move in at the end of the month. We are so excited. It is in West Jordan so it is pretty close to family and friends still.
